Hand-dyed, indigo over MX dye, mokume, handwoven rayon challis scarf with fringe, 26 x 76 inches sell

I dyed this handwoven rayon scarf brick red with fiber-reactive dye, then overdyed with indigo using the mokume shibori technique. I stitched multiple rows of running stitch to create the pattern before dyeing.

The fabric is soft, handwoven rayon challis, like a wool challis but much softer, with a beautiful drape. Lightweight and easy to wear. This scarf has a plain diagonal twill weave with hand twisted and knotted fringe at the ends. A great scarf for both sell men and women.
