High Quality Vintage Wooden Hand Carved African Animals, Hippo and Elephant

This pair of Hand-carved animals came from the estate of a prolific collector of Art Deco items and the quality sell of these show. I can not verify the age but I am making an educated guess that they are from the first half of the 20th century. It is a very hard wood, not like the more recent tourist items.

Hippos measures 7”x 2”x 1.5”
Elephant measures 6.5”x 3.5”x2.5”
