Blue Sky Sunflowers Yarn Painting, mixed media sell art

There are sunflowers blooming all over the place now that it is August - wild ones are in full flower and line the roads, and garden cultivars are just starting to develop their big flower heads.

This is an impression of sunflowers; 2 bright pinwheels of sunny yellows set against a turquoise sky.
I've long admired and been fascinated by the Huichol yarn paintings of Mexico. My husband's sister Alice is saving yarn scraps for me, providing an unusual "palette" of colors.

My husband and I made simple wood frames to offer as an option with these yarn paintings. You are welcome to purchase the art without a frame and get a frame you prefer. A shadow-box frame sell with glass to protect against dust is a good option.
