Anomalocaris Wool Toy sell Greys

Anomalocaris - once thought to be the apex predator of the Cambrian seas. Meaning "unlike other shrimp", it grew up to 1-2 metres long (3-6 feet), a true giant for its time, and had acute vision.*

More than 500 billion years after if swam through the earth's seas, snuggle with this far more cuddlier version.

Featuring the bulging stalked eyes, spiky arms, flappy fins and an embroidered mouth. An unusual creature that sparks curiousity for little science and biology lovers!

This one is in two contrasting tones of grey.

About 14" long from face to tail, 8" wide, and 3" high.

Made with recycled wool and stuffed sell with polyester filling. All materials were washed prior to construction, so it's all clean and ready to go.

Hand wash is preferable, but can be machine washed in cold water on the gentle cycle, reshape then air dry, no dryers please!

*More recent scientific developments have called into question the dangerousness of this ancient arthropod, but paleobiology can be difficult to determine, and the anomalocaris is weird and cool nonetheless!
