Midcentury sell Scarlet and White Enamel and Gold Tone Domed Heraldic Sunburst and Maltese Cross Brooch or Pendant

This fantastic Midcentury brooch features a tiered gold tone domed sunburst. The lower tier's sell openwork chevron rays are of varying lengths and slightly layered upon one another to add even more depth. The middle layer features a Maltese Cross of the same multi-length rays, but these are filled in with a rich scarlet red enamel. The brooch's center boasts five smaller arms covered in white enamel and each decorated with a different gold tone image of a diamond, club, cross, shield, circle, and clover. This stunning, incredibly detailed brooch also has a fixed loop bail and can be worn as a pendant.

The piece is in great vintage condition. As seen in the photos, the enamel shows some wear consistent with vintage jewelry. The pin mechanism and bail are both fully functional.
