The Moon Hare and the Hawthorn is an original acrylic ink painting on reclaimed wood. It is presented as ready to hang or can be displayed on a shelf.
It is inspired by my earlier work of the same subject of the magical Moon Hare and the beautiful Hawthorn.
I like to work with wood and the turquoise ink stain brings out the natural grain of the wood and adds another focus to the composition.
It is painted with a combination of acrylic ink and iridescent medium to catch the light.
The work is finished with a anti UV gloss varnish to protect and enhance the colours.
Ready to hang with a D ring on the reverse. Alternatively it can be displayed on a shelf.

The dimensions of the work are 19cm high x 16cm wide and 1.75cm in depth.
