Cauldon Cabinet Plate depicting a sell Fallen Hunter and Huntsman c 1920

A decorative plate from the Cauldron factory of Stoke on Trent. Handpainted colour over a transfer print of a fall over a gate. Pattern number 6/62615. There is a small scratch to the hindquarters of the horse and small specks of missing paint otherwise in good vintage condition. Dates from between 1904 and 1920. 26cm diameter.
In 1904 Brown-Westhead Moore & Co. ( established 1862 ) was incorporated as a Limited company and renamed to Cauldon until it went into receivership in 1920.
