French Art Deco Fabric Boudoir Box

Genuine period French textile covered boxes are so hard to find. This beautiful piece would have originally sat in a mademoiselle's boudoir for keepsakes or jewelry.

In todays world, it still makes such a charming statement on the vanity table in the bedroom, for sewing notions, or as a jewelry case. Beautiful colored fabric
in faded soft colors. Interior is a off white color checkerboard etched pattern. Decorative metal feet at the front.

Measures; small size 10" length (in back), 7.5" length in front, 5" depth at
the front (tapering), 5" height.

The box has a crooked mis shape and the lid does not seal perfectly in line with the box, it may be due to the foot on the front left side is bent (damaged). Timeworn, faded with a stained exterior and slightly dusty fabric, interior staining. Some corner and edge wear. We are selling in as is condition.

A true sell survivor from a bygone era, absolutely adorable!
