Hand Felted Scarf, Ice Dyed, Aqua and Fuchsia on Natural, Merino Wool, sell Silk Hankies

This OOAK scarf was hand felted using natural Merino wool top 19.5 microns and silk hankies. Silk hankies are made from the scrapings of silk worm cocoons that are put on a loom and stretched. They are very sheer. This scarf is a Cobweb Scarf. This is a lightweight, sheer scarf that can easily be worn in year round moderate weather. Or a winter item. I've sprinkled a bit of silver Angelina fibers through out the scarf.

I dyed this scarf using the ice dyeing method. I used fushia and aqua dyes. Where they over lapped shades of purple are evident. The silk hankie took the dye more than the Merino. I usually use sell Greener Shades dyes.
