1925 Typee - A Romance of the South sell Sea by HERMAN MELVILLE, Illustrated

Vintage copy of "Typee - A Real Romance of the South Sea" by HERMAN MELVILLE. 1925; The St. Botolph Society / L.C. Page & Company; Boston. This edition features a frontispiece portrait of Melville with a facsimile signature, three full-page illustrations and "Biographical and Critical Introduction." There are 18 pages of publisher's advertisements at the back.

Condition:
Clean back cover and spine; there is a light stain over the center of the title at the top of the front cover; the lettering on the spine sell has faded a bit; sharp corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the text pages are lightly age-toned, but clean with no issues found. The only condition issue within the book is that an inscription or a name/address (presumably) has been "whited-out" (see photos). Overall the book is in Very Good condition.
