An exceptional school health and well-being program, “Nutra-Fest,” was organized at Orchid International School, Dhaka, with the technical support of Nutra-Win Care. The day-long event was designed to promote nutrition awareness, healthy lifestyles, and the overall well-being of school children through engaging and interactive activities.

Approximately 150 participants, including school children, parents, teachers, and distinguished guests, took part in the program. The primary objective of Nutra-Fest was to support children’s physical, mental, and social development through nutrition education, health assessment, awareness sessions, and participatory learning activities.

The program was designed and implemented in three major areas:

  1. Pre-Nutritional Assessment of Children – A comprehensive nutrition assessment was conducted to identify the nutritional status and health conditions of participating children.
  2. Health Awareness and Engagement Activities – The event included a Healthy Tiffin Fair competition among parents, various healthy lifestyle competitions for children, awareness sessions on health and well-being, and cultural activities that encouraged active participation and learning.
  3. Feedback Sharing and Prize-Giving Ceremony – The final segment focused on sharing assessment feedback with parents, providing dietary guidance, and recognizing participants through a prize-giving ceremony.

The program created a joyful and highly engaging environment for both parents and children. Participants appreciated the innovative and impactful approach designed by Nutra-Win Care to promote healthy living among school communities.

As an outcome of the program, the school received:

  • Nutritional assessment data identifying the health and nutrition status of students
  • Healthy tiffin and dietary guidelines for children
  • Lifestyle modification guidance to support healthier daily habits and long-term well-being

Nutra-Fest successfully demonstrated how schools, parents, and health professionals can work together to promote green health and build healthier futures for children.
